Situated in the Permatang Sanctuary Show Village, Sanctuary Residence Show Unit was initiated with 2 objectives; to be a show unit for the public and as a mockup study for the actual scheme. With the idea to create a fresh and outstanding look from the previous phase 1 and 2 development, we took a bold move to change the conventional pitched roof design which all the existing surrounding development adopted and designed this new housing scheme, Sanctuary Residence with sleek box shaped design.

For Sanctuary Residence, we designed a long protrusion on the upper floor with a big balcony towards the main gate to create a bold and distinctive box design feature. This approach also creates shade for the car porch which comfortably houses 4 cars. Panels of sliding aluminum louvers have also been installed in the master bedroom to create a lanai while allowing residents to adjust the degree of sun shading and privacy required. These are some of the design features which gained very good feed back and were revered by the residents.
